2019 Neighborhood Block Watch Grant Program (NBWGP)

The 2019 Neighborhood Block Watch Grant Program (NBWGP) application process will open Thursday, November 1, 2018.  The deadline to submit completed applications is Thursday, December 6, 2018, by 4:00 p.m. Arizona local time. The NBWGP program provides an opportunity to enhance the safety and quality of life in the City of Phoenix through empowerment of community groups. NBWGP funds offer neighborhood groups the resources to create new and innovative programs and activities designed to prevent and reduce crime in their community.

NBWGP staff will provide training on how to submit a 2019 Neighborhood Block Watch Grant Program application.  This training covers registration in the Grants Management System (GMS), creating a new application, entering budgets, uploading documentation, printing reports, and application submission.  Staff will also cover eligibility criteria, application changes for 2019, and be available to answer questions.

Wireless internet connections will be available. Please bring your laptop if you would like to access the Grants Management System during the presentation and a USB with your uploaded documents if you want assistance to attach them to your application.
